Nephrolepis

Nephrolepis furcans (Albino)

This is an extremely rare condition of the Nephrolepis group.  This albinism occurred in a collection in the
Coral Gables section of Miami.  There were only two fronds that came up lacking chlorophyll. Without
chlorophyll, photosynthesis can not take place, ultimately dooming these fronds.  While they are interesting
to look at, they unfortunately died shortly after.
